We welcome your observations and reports. Correspondence should be directed to the catalogue project, at editor@mupea.com. This address is the only verified channel for editorial matters; we do not operate a contact form or telephone line.
When to write
You may wish to contact us for any of the following reasons:
- Metadata corrections – an incorrect title, author, or category placement (for example, a volume listed under “Painting Sculpture” that belongs in “Conflict, Power & Social Change”).
- File or reader problems – unreadable files, formatting errors, or failures on specific devices or browsers.
- Accessibility concerns – difficulties with screen-reader compatibility, missing alt text, or other barriers.
- Privacy questions – inquiries about data handling or the use of optional analytics where enabled.
- Copyright or rights issues – if you believe a work is not in the public domain in your jurisdiction, or if you hold rights that may be affected.
- General editorial observations – suggestions, scholarly notes, or corrections to the introductory essays that accompany titles such as Sketches of lowly life in a great city or Lectures on painting, delivered at the Royal Academy.
What to include
To help us address your report efficiently, please provide:
- the exact page URL of the ebook or article;
- the full title and, if known, the author or editor;
- the file format you attempted to use (EPUB, PDF, HTML, etc.);
- your device or browser and operating system;
- a clear description of the observed problem;
- any supporting information related to rights or permissions, if your message concerns copyright.
For example, if you encounter a display issue with Types of prehistoric Southwestern architecture on a tablet, please mention the device model and the specific page where the text becomes illegible.
Our response
We read every message and treat each report seriously. While we cannot guarantee a reply within a fixed time, we endeavour to acknowledge substantive reports. Please note that we do not accept unsolicited manuscripts or promotional material.
Additional guidance
If you are unsure whether a particular issue warrants a message, we encourage you to write. Even small observations—such as a missing illustration in The Gibson Book: A Collection of Published Works of Charles Dana Gibson. Vol. II or a broken link in the reading notes for Euterpe; or, The future of art—help us improve the catalogue. For copyright concerns, please specify the jurisdiction and, if possible, provide a reference to the relevant legal provision or a link to a rights statement. We also appreciate hearing about works that you believe should be added to the catalogue, though we cannot guarantee inclusion.
When reporting accessibility barriers, describe the assistive technology you use (such as a specific screen reader or voice-control software) and the nature of the obstacle. For instance, if the reading notes for Sacred and legendary art, volume 1 lack descriptive alt text for an image, a note to that effect helps us prioritise fixes.
We also welcome suggestions for new introductory essays or thematic groupings. If you have expertise in a subject covered by our categories—such as “Design Photography” or “Art History”—and wish to propose a correction or an addition, your message will receive careful attention.
